Our Goal
is to bring together men who share a common desire to develop brotherhood with their follow students. We desire to strengthen this brotherhood by promoting all aspects of collegiate life. Our intentions are to achieve this through promoting and maintaining academic achievement, social life, and through service to the college and local communities.
We look forward to welcoming a few of you to walk this path of glory with us, and experience our versions in the years to come. Come to a place where each is indispensable, nobody is more equal than another is, and brotherly embrace is truly eternal.

History
Phi Chi Epsilon Fraternity was founded on October 21st, 1983 at the State University of New York at Potsdam. The idea for the formation of Phi Chi Epsilon was originally conceived by nine founding fathers. Phi Chi Epsilon was formed to promote and maintain the ideals of higher education, friendship, morality, and further the principles of democracy and justice at an institutional level. In upholding these ideals, Phi Chi Epsilon provides a unique alternative to existing groups on campus.
During the month of September in 1990, Charles Kemp, a member of Alpha Chapter, Mu Class, transferred from Potsdam College to the State University of New York at Stony Brook. It was at this time that he introduced to ideals of the fraternity to a small interest group. The first official meeting of the Beta Colony Founding Fathers took place on September 26, 1990.
On November 15, 1991, Phi Chi Epsilon inducted its first class, Alpha Class. Today, 25 years later, Phi Chi Epsilon's beta chapter alone has over 150 members, and is still growing.
